Sitecore’s newest offering, Content Hub, brings a whole new level of integration to its suite of products. Content Hub supports integrations with technology powerhouses like Sitecore’s Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Marketing Platform (CMP), Digital Experience Platform (DXP), and its Product Content Management system to give you a 360° view of what Sitecore calls your “content landscape,” or the lifecycle of your content.

But while Content Hub’s system integrations make it an invaluable part of your marketing stack, its real value – and differentiator – is in the other connections it makes. With its battle cry of “Synergy not silos!” Sitecore Content Hub makes powerful connections, not only among content (text, visuals, metadata, etc.) but also among people and teams. Many DAMs do the former with system integration, but not many successfully pull off the latter. Here are a few ways Content Hub goes beyond system (and even workflow) integration to create connections where they count.

USER EXPERIENCE INTEGRATION WITH A UNIFIED, INTUITIVE INTERFACE

Most DAMs provide some version of a user interface, or dashboard, but Content Hub’s clean, intuitive interface makes not only finding, using, and creating content easy but also improves collaboration and does a great job of supporting workflow. With such a powerful set of integrated platforms, this flexible user interface is a must-have, not a nice-to-have, because it takes into account how different people in different roles need to interact with content on its journey from idea to publication.

CREATIVE PROCESS INTEGRATION WITH ADOBE INDESIGN

Although some DAMs integrate external repositories – such as iStock and Getty Images – they don’t go far enough to integrate the creative tools content producers need to do their work. One of the most appealing advances realized with Sitecore Content Hub is its integration with Adobe inDesign, which allows designers to seamlessly pull content from Sitecore CMS directly into inDesign. Because the designer doesn’t have to move from application to application, their work is streamlined. Additionally, content governance gets a little assistance with increased visibility into the most current iterations of content from the CMS, as well as visuals in the DAM.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT INTEGRATION WITH SITECORE MRM

Pulling project management into the mix is probably one of the most appealing differentiators Sitecore Content Hub offers. In addition to synching your digital assets, Content Hub helps you synch the teams creating them with its integrated Marketing Resource Management (MRM) platform. Built-in project management tools, such as project templates, structured briefings, and collaboration tools, allow marketing, product, and copywriting teams to work together seamlessly, incorporating even external agencies and translation and production services into the collaboration. So, Content Hub not only supports the creative process and manages the whereabouts of the marketing content your teams create, it also supports the meta-processes involved in creating and managing content: planning, scheduling, and overseeing its production. Which means big potential for cross-platform, cross-team, and cross-channel collaboration.

DON'T JUST CONTROL YOUR MARKETING CONTENT CHAOS - ELIMINATE IT!

If you’re like many companies, you’re running multiple, individual systems to manage your marketing content, resulting in chaos for your teams, your brand, and potentially your customers. Sitecore Content Hub takes content hub technology to the next level, integrating not only powerful systems but also creative, collaborative, and project management tools and processes.
